Your game controller takes lots of abuse, every flick of your thumb, every time you plug in to charge.

Things wear out.

The two most common issues with game controllers are not charging and stick drift. Both can usually be fixed.

Prices for repairs follow a system*, (Prices are for each controller, prices are not combined if you bring multiple controllers.)

$45+tax for the first part repaired.

$20+tax for each additional part.

For example;

if you have a DualSense controller that the left stick went bad, that repair is $45+tax

for both sticks $65+tax

for one stick and a new charge port $65+tax

for both sticks and a new charge port $85+tax.

If you need new thumbstick caps (the plastic/rubber part you touch) they are an additional $5 with a service.

*This pricing is for most PlayStation and XBOX controllers including brands like SCUFF

DualSense Edge and Battle Beaver controllers are priced higher. Other brands may be higher in price as well.

A note on SCUFF, they are the same price as stock PS5 controllers because they are put together so cleanly inside that they are just as easy to service as a stock DualSense. Other brands, not so much.

The only sticks I keep in stock are original ALPS RKJXV122400R. Theses are the same Sony installs at the factory. The entire stick is changed in a service. We DO NOT change out only the variable resistor for the axess that went bad, like other shops do. The spring and basket that keeps the stick returning to center ware out as well. You will never get only half of a repair at PS Electronics.

I do not keep Hall Effect or TMR sticks in stock, simply because there are so many on the market and I have not found any that I fully like and trust. If you would like to upgrade to TMR sticks I will install sticks that you bring with your controller. I cannot suggest any though, you will have to do the research into what sticks would be best for you. I will suggest that you get ones that are direct fit and do not have a daughter board that needs to be fixed to the underside of the stick. (there is no discount for bringing your own sticks)
